DISSEMINATING MOON IN VIRGO
The aim of astrology is to organise chaos into order. We want external chaos consisting of natural disasters, unexpected events, and undesirable circumstances to make sense. Rarely do we believe in randomness of our misfortunes, so we look for answers in the stars, in faith, in a God. But astrology works best when we finally realise that our job is to organise the mess in our inner world. Despite our ambition to control nature we forget to take reigns of our inner nature. “I’m just emotional,” we hear ourselves say and expect to be loved for “who we are.” “I only get angry when he/she/they does this one thing,” yet another excuse for our refusal to evolve, to change to be better.
So we love in only one way we know how to love. In this prose I wrote I tried to step into the shoes of a classic Virgo lover (Sun, Moon, Venus, or stellium - contact me if you have questions about these placements). But this is not a negative look on Virgo. We all have Virgo somewhere in the chart and we are all victims of her influence both good and bad. It’s good to be cautious, but sometimes we can become a little too cautious and forget to let people into our hearts.
“Split my heart in two or three. Temporarily, give away all of me. I can’t say that I’m comfortable with your affection but it’s a great distraction from the void I like to stare into in my spare time. If your mind doesn’t amuse me, my heart doesn’t include thee. Bored and drained from all these knights in shining armour - if you don’t polish it, it rusts. Like my fascination with your fleeting affection. It is almost the rising of the sun, must be your time to gallop away into nothingness. They always promise to be kind even when their love dawns, but knights have a short memory it seems and a cruel streak cross their hearts.”
