NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS
We all make mistakes. That is the blessing and a curse of being a human. The curse is that we curse ourselves for the smallest mishaps. We are our best and worst critics. It’s good to keep yourself in check but it’s dangerous for the psyche to drag yourself down every hour of every day. When we are done judging ourselves we start judging our loved ones and at our most audacious hour, we judge strangers. It’s good to observe. It’s healthy to pay attention to the world around you but it is bad for your emotional state of being to scrutinise and hold on to that scrutiny.
I’m not a stranger to judgment and criticism. As I happen to be human. I am working on it. I’m working on not judging others especially when I don’t know the whole story. But I’m especially focused on letting go of unnecessary self-criticism. I’m letting go of counting every flaw on my body. I’m allowing myself to be imperfect so I can allow others to be free to be themselves. We are all only human. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is accept yourself for who you are today and start from there.
